It all started back in 2022 when our founder noticed there was something missing in the small-town community and decided to do something about it. Quick Food Delivery was born out of necessity, innovation, and putting the needs of people first.
Saving the Environment
Quick Food Delivery is paving the way for a greener future! With our vehicles running several hours a week to deliver food and groceries to our loyal customers, it is important for our business to consider the environment. To save on greenhouse gas emissions, our drivers are combining deliveries that are within the same neighborhood. This prevents our drivers from making multiple trips to the same neighborhood. This does not affect your delivery as you will still receive your food or groceries delivered conveniently to your front door!
Working Towards a Greener Future
27% of greenhouse gas emissions in 2020 were from the transportation sector making it the largest contributor towards emissions. This statistic is alarming which is why Quick Food Delivery decided we want to help to reduce this number. As a food delivery service, our job involves the use of transportation to get from the store or restaurant to the home. To reduce this number, we have adopted route optimization which includes finding the quickest route for our driver. This increases delivery efficiency for our customers ensuring a speedy delivery while reducing the number of miles driven. As part of this increased efficiency, our drivers are delivering more than one order at a time. This reduces the number of trips our drivers must make to and from the store.
Being socially responsible as a business to improve our economy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions is a priority. By improving our techniques to reduce the number of trips and miles traveled, we are showing our customers that we care. We hope by setting this example, that our customers will start to look for ways to reduce their trips, therefore, improving our environment with us. In order to make a larger impact towards the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, our company has decided to donate a portion of our profits to the non-profit foundation Union of Concerned Scientists. Our company has decided to support this non-profit due to its foundational goals aligning with ours. Their goal for the transportation industry is to advance policies that will help to reduce the pollution that is being caused by gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles. To decrease the use of these vehicles they are advocating for transportation services that can get us to and from where we need to go without causing smog or global warming pollution. Our future goal for our company is to eventually rely on electric-powered vehicles to make our food deliveries to help reduce the number of greenhouse emissions. We hope that you feel good about each delivery you order through our company knowing we are delivering it in the most efficient manner possible.

At Quick Food Delivery, the needs of our employees are important. We as a company understand that if our employees are happy, our customers will be too. Our company is a small, locally owned company and we want to display that through friendly, honest employees that are willing to go the extra step to ensure customer satisfaction. Compensation at our company considers the hard work of the employee. As a company, we offer a competitive base pay for our drivers with an opportunity for a raise every six months. After one year with the company, employees are given an annual bonus on top of their merit increase. On top of the base pay offered by the company, employees are given the opportunity to receive tips from the customers they deliver to. We believe in offering a competitive salary in order to maintain high employee retention and satisfaction.
Management can make or break a company which is why it is a focus for our company. As a small company we want our management to focus on the well-being of our employees to ensure that when they are at work, they are productive and efficient to provide a happy, safe delivery for our customers. An important part of our management style is to maintain flexibility and understanding for our employees. One of our requirements for management is to provide a safe space for our drivers. We want a transparent and fair relationship to be established so that our drivers feel comfortable coming to work. Transparency in the workplace allows for our drivers to share feedback with our management team that can better our company without fear of retaliation.
